Founded in 1961, the Hanson Historical Society is dedicated to collecting, preserving, and studying the history of the town of Hanson, Massachusetts. Meetings are held at Primary School #4 on Main Street during the months of April through November and feature guest speakers who lecture on local and national historical topics.
Join us November 3rd at 7pm at the Nathaniel Thomas Mill for our last meeting of the season and celebratory potluck dinner. An active members only event, bring a dish and enjoy the company of fellow society members!
Thank you for visiting the Hanson Historical Society's new website! Under newly elected leadership following the Covid pandemic, we are excited to bring Hanson a variety of educational programs and exciting community-based events throughout the year. We hope that you'll join us in this new chapter!
